- Copy the URL of the page you wish to print from your browser’s address bar (right- click on the URL, then click Copy).
- Visit www.printfriendly.com. (Note: I recommend that you bookmark this page so you can load it quickly when you need to print a web page.)
- Paste the URL you just copied into the text box, then click the print preview button. You should now see a stripped-down version of the page.
- (Optional) Check the Remove Images box if you want to print the page without the images. You can also adjust the text size to your liking if you wish.
- Click the Print button to send the stripped-down web page to your printer.
- (Optional) You can also convert the page to a PDF document or email it to afriend if you wish.
- (Optional) You can add the “Print Friendly” browser extension to your web browserif you want. Personally, I prefer to simply visit the website when I need to use it since adding extensions can slow your browser down.

Ads, header logos, photos and other types of “extra” content are usually quite acceptable when viewing a web page in your browser, but they can be a pain in the neck when you want to print the page.
Luckily, there’s a fantastic free service called Print Friendly that will let you quickly and easily print just the text (and optionally the photos) that appears on any web page. Here’s how to use it:
